Language: English is spoken by most hospital staff and is the country’s official language. It predominates in government and business affairs, and it is the standard language used for educational instruction. However, BMC is located among the Mamprusi people, and the majority of patients seen at the hospital do not speak or understand English. The primary language in the region is Mampruli. There are also a variety of other languages spoken by patients, including Twi, Bimoba, Mossi, Fulani, French, and others.
Housing: There is a nice guesthouse available on the mission station for short-term visitors. Housing for long-term staff may or may not be available.
