Drs. Michael and Shanaree Muzinich met in medical school at Indiana University in 2006. They both completed internship and residency programs in diagnostic radiology at the University of Missouri. Michael then completed a fellowship in nuclear medicine at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, while Shanaree completed a fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging and breast imaging at the University of Missouri. They both worked for a rural private practice group for several years before feeling that God was calling them to overseas missions, specifically to Africa.
They currently serve at Kijabe Hospital, a mission hospital in Kenya, with four of their children. Their focus is on providing quality medical care, diagnostic imaging, and interventional procedures for the local population while helping train the surgical, pediatric, and family practice residents at the hospital.
Their passion is to demonstrate the love and hope of Jesus through compassionate medical care and the training and discipling of local resident physicians.
