About Celeste & Brent Adrian

Brent and Celeste Adrian met in Alberta, Canada. Together they have been working towards full time missions work since 2007. Celeste is a general surgeon and Brent is a structural engineer. They share a passion for using their skills in resource-poor settings. They have 6 children: Kyle, Isabelle, Bobby, Cody, Caleb and Reuben. Lord willing, the Adrian family will be headed to the AIC Kapsowar Mission Hospital in Kenya in November, 2022.

Kapsowar Mission Hospital has a vision to serve God by bringing surgery residents in to Kenya from surrounding African nations where surgery training is not available. These residents will be trained as surgeons and mentored in the Christian faith before returning to their home nations. Celeste and Brent share this vision of raising up Christian, African surgeons. While Celeste train surgeons, Brent will aid in the construction of new facilities to accommodate this newly born residency program.

Reserve Corps Application

Our Reserve Corps program allows healthcare professionals seeking to volunteer short-term to do so in a way that supports long-term Christian medical missions work. CHSC places healthcare professionals in a growing list of Christian hospitals across Africa, Asia, Latin America and other regions. Christian Health Service Corps works to improve access to primary healthcare, surgical services, and community-based disease prevention services. Non-Christian volunteers are accepted on a case by case basis but solely at the discretion of the hospital and CHSC team the volunteer will be supporting.
