Mission: Taylor and Kavi met in 2002 on the YWAM, Mercy Ship, Anastasis in Sierra Leone, West Africa where God showed them that their ability to further His Kingdom and live for God’s glory would be greater together than apart. In preparation for missions, God led Kavi through a Master’s program in International Public Health, Medical School and Family Medicine residency focused on becoming a full-spectrum Family Physician with skills geared toward working in underserved areas with minimal resources. During this time, Taylor has become an experienced architect working on many healthcare projects during his 15 years with NBBJ including a major expansion at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle and Kaiser’s new flagship hospital in Oakland. Internationally, Taylor has worked on the design and construction of three rural hospitals in Sierra Leone, the Gambia and Guatemala.
Taylor and Kavi’s vision revolves around using the skills and passions God has given them to ignite community transformation. They will be doing Community Health Evangelism (CHE), along with training local Primary Care Physicians and engaging in design and construction projects at Soddo Hospital. They will be working towards engaging unreached people
