About The Noblitt Family

Dr. Bryce Noblitt is an otolaryngologist serving in Kijabe, Kenya. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky, where he met his wife, Mary Beth Noblitt, at Westport Road Church of Christ. They both attended Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, where Mary Beth earned a degree in elementary and middle school education. She taught in low income schools in Kentucky for 5 years. They have four children: Henry, Owen, Grace and Emma.

Bryce earned his medical degree from the University of Kentucky, where he also completed his residency in Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery. Since August 2022, he has worked in the Ear, Nose, and Throat Department at Kijabe Mission Hospital, providing specialized care for patients with advanced head and neck diseases. The department serves the local community, Kenya, and patients from across East Africa. In addition to his clinical work, Bryce is actively involved in medical education, training Otolaryngology residents from the University of Nairobi and general surgery residents from the Pan-African Academy of Christian Surgeons Residency Program at Kijabe Hospital.

Since moving to Kijabe, Mary Beth has helped start a preschool co-op program for missionary children and worked with the local church to build a children’s community library. They continue to host events at the library, fostering a love of reading and learning among local children. Henry and Owen attend the Rift Valley Academy in Kijabe while Grace and Emma stay home with Mary Beth.

They praise the Lord for the opportunity and blessing to serve in Kijabe.

Reserve Corps Application

Our Reserve Corps program allows healthcare professionals seeking to volunteer short-term to do so in a way that supports long-term Christian medical missions work. CHSC places healthcare professionals in a growing list of Christian hospitals across Africa, Asia, Latin America and other regions. Christian Health Service Corps works to improve access to primary healthcare, surgical services, and community-based disease prevention services. Non-Christian volunteers are accepted on a case by case basis but solely at the discretion of the hospital and CHSC team the volunteer will be supporting.

Reserve Corps Application

At this time, our program is only able to accept applications from physicians, dentists, surgeons, anesthesia providers, and medical specialists. This is due to the limited placement opportunities currently available for other health professions in our mission hospitals. We deeply appreciate the essential role of all healthcare workers and thank you for your understanding.

Faith Questions

The Christian Healthcare Services Corps (CHSC) is a non-profit organization that provides healthcare services to underserved communities worldwide. Our mission is to bring Christ-centered, compassionate care where needed most, and we deploy Christian healthcare professional staff and volunteers to our Christian-based partners. We appreciate your interest in working with our organization and providing your specialties to the less fortunate.
