About The Anderson Family

Max and Hannah Anderson and their four children served in Honduras through the Samaritan’s Purse Post Residency Program for 2.5 years prior to joining CHSC in 2024. Hannah grew up as the child of medical missionaries serving in Africa and later in the Middle East. She is a family physician with a fellowship in surgical obstetrics. Max is a licensed architect and has experience managing projects at all phases of the design and construction process including pre-design through construction administration and project closeout. During his time in Honduras, Max has gained experience maintaining and developing hospital systems and infrastructure.

The Andersons are currently working as a part of the Hospital Yojoa development team with the hope of sharing the love of Christ by improving access to healthcare in central Honduras.

CHSC places healthcare professionals in a growing list of Christian hospitals across Africa, Asia, Latin America and other regions. Christian Health Service Corps works to improve access to primary healthcare, surgical services, and community-based disease prevention services. Non-Christian volunteers are accepted on a case by case basis but solely at the discretion of the hospital and CHSC team the volunteer will be supporting.
