Dr. Britney Grayson is a pediatric general and thoracic surgeon who completed medical school and general surgery residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, followed by pediatric surgery fellowship at Indiana University. During her fellowship, she met Micah Wilfong and they married in 2019. A commercial real estate developer by trade, Micah also lived in South Africa for 1 year, participating in a missionary training program in Johannesburg.
They moved to Kijabe, Kenya in August 2020, where Britney works full time at Bethany Kids Children’s Hospital at AIC Kijabe Hospital. She is training the next generation of Christian pediatric surgeons for the continent with an equal focus on spiritual growth and surgical skill. Micah spends his days supporting Britney and her ministry as much as possible. He leads Bible studies for the nurse anesthesia students at the hospital and serves the community on the hospital’s housing committee.
