Jerry is a Family Physician and Elizabeth is a Community Health Nurse. They served as medical missionaries in Shell, Ecuador for five years and Lilongwe, Malawi for three. Now they feel called to teach health care providers in Kapsowar, Kenya. Jerry will teach Kenyan Family Medicine residents and Elizabeth will work educating Kenyan nurses and promoting Community Health in the Kapsowar area.
Jerry has been a Family Physician and has taught Family Medicine residents since 1996. Elizabeth has worked in Public Health Nursing and Patient Education since 1985.
Believing that teaching future young health care providers is one of the most useful practices to improve the overall wellbeing of all Kenyans, Elizabeth and Jerry will dedicate their efforts to teaching people who will stay and practice in Kenya with some going on to teach others.
