Hannah Irwin serves at Mercy Maternity Center as a midwife, student preceptor, teacher, and administrator.

Mercy Maternity Center has a dedicated team of midwives, nurses, and support staff
whose vision is to serve mothers and babies by providing safe, professional, competent,
and compassionate midwifery care to women and their families in and around Davao City.

Hannah is passionate about women’s healthcare and desires to see more skilled midwives on the mission field. She works alongside New Life International School of Midwifery as the overseas clinical coordinator, overseeing students in their midwifery education and providing preceptorship and discipleship. Hannah received her nursing degree from Oklahoma Baptist University and her midwifery degree from National College of Midwifery. She grew up on the mission field herself and sensed a calling into missions as a teenager. Her heart is to bring quality healthcare to places that need the gospel the most.

Preliminary Application for Missionary Service

Reserve Corps Application

Our Reserve Corps program allows healthcare professionals seeking to volunteer short-term to do so in a way that supports long-term Christian medical missions work. CHSC places healthcare professionals in a growing list of Christian hospitals across Africa, Asia, Latin America and other regions. Christian Health Service Corps works to improve access to primary healthcare, surgical services, and community-based disease prevention services. Non-Christian volunteers are accepted on a case by case basis but solely at the discretion of the hospital and CHSC team the volunteer will be supporting.
