Bethany’s life was changed early one Tuesday morning when she tiredly stumbled into her ultrasound lab and met her instructor, Cheryl Boodt. Cheryl excitedly shared her experiences from the medical mission field, and when Bethany asked to hear more about her adventures, Cheryl simply invited her along!
After two short-term trips to Kenya – one as a student, and another as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer – Bethany recognized the dire need for accurate imaging and higher quality education for ultrasound techs in underdeveloped countries. Now, after much laughter, many tears, and countless hours spent in prayer, she is thrilled to be joining her former professor in starting an ultrasound school at Litein Medical Training College in Kenya.
The Lord has miraculously orchestrated Bethany’s life in order to get her to this point, and she cannot imagine a higher honor than to glorify Him through serving the people of Kenya.
