The Region
Encircled by the mountains of central Honduras, Lago de Yojoa, the nation’s largest freshwater lake, is a popular tourism hub.
Despite this, the region boasts some of the highest poverty rates of Central America. The mountains of Yojoa are scattered with tiny villages full of people with little access to affordable medical care.
The Plan
Our aim is to build a 140 bed full-service Christian mission teaching hospital in Central Honduras
Hospital Yojoa will be located near Santa Cruz de Yojoa, the municipal seat of the region to allow for easy access by patients from the numerous impoverished mountain villages surrounding the area.
Heal the sick who are there and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God is near you.
