Gifts That Save Lives

At Christian Health Service Corps, we have a clear vision for global impact: Provide compassionate Christ-centered care for 10 million people every year!

Half the people in the world live without access to safe, compassionate, healthcare. Every day, preventable diseases claim lives.

Every day, families are devastated by a lack of care.

Through your giving we will be able to provide the care, resources, and training needed to reach those 10 million people around the world in need of healthcare.

$20 Can Help Provide Child Outpatient Care

Meet Emmanuel

a 4-year-old who came to the hospital clinic suffering from malaria, whose early treatment prevented the need for hospitalization. Millions of children in poor countries suffer from treatable illnesses like malaria, diarrhea, and respiratory infections. Outpatient clinics are often their first and only access to care. According to UNICEF, pneumonia and diarrhea alone kill over 1.5 million children under five each year—deaths that are largely preventable with timely treatment. ā€œWhen Emmanuel was so sick, your generosity made it possible for him to see a doctor and get the medicine he needed. Thank you for bringing my little boy back to health.ā€ —Emmanuel’s mother

$50 Can Help Provide Prenatal Care Visits for a Pregnant Mother

Meet Fatou

a 21-year-old mother. "Every visit gave me hope and confidence for my baby’s future—thank you for walking beside me." Prenatal care is essential for ensuring the health of both mother and baby. Yet in low-income countries, many women receive little or no care during pregnancy. According to the WHO, only 64% of pregnant women worldwide receive the recommended four antenatal visits. Lack of prenatal care increases the risk of complications such as preterm birth, low birth weight, and maternal mortality.

$100 Can Help Provide Lifesaving Hospital Care for a Child

Meet Amina

a 6-year-old who nearly died from malaria and sepsis, whose mother walked for 2 days carrying her to the hospital. In many developing countries, critically ill children are treated in under-resourced hospitals, often without access to essential medicines, trained staff, or proper equipment. Children die from treatable conditions like pneumonia, diarrhea, and malnutrition simply because they cannot access quality care. Together we can change this! ā€œI was so afraid I would lose my precious daughter, but your kindness gave her another chance at life. Thank you for bringing her back to me.ā€ —Amina’s mother

$200 Can Help Provide Lifesaving Surgery for a Child

Meet Emmanuel

a baby boy born with his intestines outside his body in Burundi–but because of partners like you he will survive. Every year, millions of children suffer from treatable surgical conditions—yet 1.75 billion children globally lack access to safe, timely, and affordable surgical care. But together we can change this. "Thank you for saving my child’s life. Because of your generosity, I get to watch my son grow up and smile again." —Samuel’s mother

$150 Can Help Provide a Lifesaving C-Section for a Mother

Meet Grace

a mother who walked for a full day in labor to receive care from a CHSC surgeon, while in desperate need of an emergency c-section. More than 700 women die every day from preventable causes related to pregnancy and childbirth, one mother dying every 2 minutes. C-sections are often the only option to save both mother and child, yet access is limited and quality of care is inconsistent. "Your kindness gave me the joy of holding my baby in my arms—thank you for saving us both." —Grace

$300 Can Help a Premature Infant Survive to Hospital Discharge

Meet Baby Daniel

an infant born several weeks prematurely with no chance of survival without neonatal Intensive care. Because of partners like you he gets to graduate from ICU to go home! Premature birth is the leading cause of death in children under 5, accounting for 900,000 deaths annually. In low-income countries, more than 90% of extremely preterm infants die within the first few days of life, compared to less than 10% in high-income settings. Together we can change this. ā€œMy baby was so tiny and fragile, but your kindness gave him the chance to survive and grow strong. Thank you from the depths of my heart.ā€ —Josephine, mother of baby Daniel

10 million lives touched. 10 million stories changed.

God has given us a vision that is bold and breathtaking: to reach 10 million people every year with both healing and hope.Ā Yes, you read that right—10 million lives, every year, in Jesus’ name!

This dream was born in prayer and in the faces of those we care for—faces like Maria, a young mom who walked two days with her fever-burning toddler to find one of our doctors. Or Joseph, a 2-year-old in rural Burundi, whose life was saved because a Christian Health Service Corps surgeon was there.

Our vision isn’t about numbers—it’s about people. Real lives. Every treatment, every surgery, every loving word is a chance to share God’s love in the flesh. Medicine and ministry—we see them work hand in hand, transforming hearts as well as bodies.

Let us tell you: We’ve watched a Muslim father in India, tears in his eyes, ask about the Savior whose love healed his child. We’ve seen a Hindu mother in Nepal, rescued by an emergency C-section, who wonders about the God who sent hope to her hospital bed. These moments are miracles—when healthcare becomes a doorway to the Good News.

Half the world—almost 4 billion people—still go without the care we all deserve. Every day, preventable diseases steal the lives of children who should grow up laughing, learning, and dreaming. These are not just tragic numbers, but precious souls—made in God’s image, cherished by Him.

We dream of a world where geography or income never determines who lives or dies… We dream of 10 million stories rewritten by Christ’s mercy.

Will you answer God’s call and be part of this work? Your generous gift today brings life-saving care and gospel hope to places where no other help will go. Together, let’s share Christ’s compassion—with medicine in our hands, and love in our hearts. Below are some of our needs for this year’s giving season.

Let’s make history together—for His glory.
