Who We Are

Celeste Gauer

Location
Cambodia
Occupation
Nurse

Celeste’s passion for missions started on a high school mission trip to Cambodia. As she prepared for college, she sought to pursue a career that would be beneficial overseas, and at the advice of a missionary family, she prayerfully chose nursing. Through the grace of God, Celeste not only passed nursing school but also fell in love with the career. After graduation, Celeste began working in the ICU and has since transitioned to float pool, where she has gained a wide variety of nursing skills. Missions was never far from her heart, and she is overjoyed to be returning to serve in the country where it all started – Cambodia.

Celeste will pursue full-time language school in Phnom Penh so she can build God-glorifying relationships with the locals. She will also be partnering with the CHSC team at Hebron Medical Center.

Reserve Corps Application

Our Reserve Corps program allows healthcare professionals seeking to volunteer short-term to do so in a way that supports long-term Christian medical missions work. CHSC places healthcare professionals in a growing list of Christian hospitals across Africa, Asia, Latin America and other regions. Christian Health Service Corps works to improve access to primary healthcare, surgical services, and community-based disease prevention services. Non-Christian volunteers are accepted on a case by case basis but solely at the discretion of the hospital and CHSC team the volunteer will be supporting.
