Tim and Stacey serve at AIC Kijabe Hospital near the Great Rift Valley in Kenya. Tim and Stacey met at Cedarville University, where they first went on a mission’s trip to Mexico. After getting married, they spent five years teaching in an international school in Asia. They served families of TCK’s (Third Culture Kids) and grew in their love for missions and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with people from different cultures.
After those five years, their focus was on completing medical training with the intention of returning overseas to serve as medical missionaries. They were awarded the Ernie Stuery Scholarship for Medical Missions through the Christian Medical and Dental Association and felt the Lord leading them to serve in East Africa. Tim is an Emergency Medicine Doctor with a focus on treating critically ill patients and sharing the message that Jesus is the one who heals. He also helps run a Critical Care training program for Kenyan colleagues as they learn the skills necessary to help run an Emergency Room.
Stacey is active in the Kijabe community welcoming visitors, teaching preschool, and opening their home to those who come through. They have four children, Seth, Leah, Judah and Moriah, who attend Rift Valley Academy and love living life in rural Africa.
