Light and Lift

A recent report revealed the activity of a new CHE team in the west formed by some of whom we’ve trained. They will help reforest the area as brush fires caused severe damages and provide literacy training. The team found the necessary Ivorian-managed resources and some local people eager to launch the work. Pray for the new CHE endeavors taking root in western, central, and southeastern Cote d’Ivoire.

SOS & SOP

Save our Souls with Shouts of Praise! Thomas Jefferson knew that no man, no political party, no media pundit, and no tech giant could bring the healing and blessing that King Jesus affords to a nation! Taking cue from our update two weeks ago, we choose this week to rejoice in the goodness of God. His faithfulness never ends. His mercies renew every morning! Rejoice with us! Families are weak, churches are weak, and our nation is weak because we have not individually chased away enough little foxes that gnaw at our faith in God’s Word speaking to . . .

To Globe Trot or Not

How much longer before we globe trot or not in return to Cote d’Ivoire? This is a frequently asked question since old, and new friends realize we are eager to dive back into work on the field again. At this point . . .

Belief Trap

There exists a common faith in our world that animates and intermingles itself with what we term the major world religions. Many call it ‘animism.’ The term represents beliefs that nature, which surrounds humanity, responds more to spirits, sacred forces, and extraordinary phenomena than to human activity. . . . the story of change in Boto describes a people who escaped the curse of living with animist falsehoods.
