When Steve and Caitlin met in college in 2006 and were placed on the same short-term team to India, they quickly realized that they shared a passion and calling for missions and service. Over the next several years, they had a glimpse of what may come as they both served for short periods of time internationally, though separately, in Europe and East Asia before starting grad school.
In 2016, while working as an immigration attorney, God called Caitlin to partner with The Parks Church to build a local ministry and charitable medical clinic, Hope Clinic of McKinney. A year later, after Steve finished his residency in family medicine, Hope Clinic opened its doors and started sharing the love of Jesus through providing for the medical needs of the locally uninsured.
Thousands of patient encounters later, the Lord has again called them into a new season of ministry as they embark for Cambodia. They will be working at the Mercy Medical Center Hospital and family medicine residency program near the capital city of Phnom Penh. Caitlin and Steve have three children, Benson, who lives in heaven, and Audie and Charlie who will be joining them in their service.
