God placed a longing in my heart in the beginning of college, to be active in the Kingdom of the Lord through Medical Missions. Through obedience, God has graciously shown me what that work looks like. After acquiring my Bachelor’s in Business, I moved to Kenya to work at Tenwek Mission Hospital. There I worked as the Intern for Friends of Tenwek inc. As I walked with the Lord in Africa, God provided a greater clarity in how to pursue my longing; to serve those who can serve more. After a wonderful year of learning and mentorship, the Lord led me to pursue a Masters in Healthcare Administration. Upon returning to the states and beginning school, I was given a job at Texas Health Stephenville as the Clinical Outcomes Specialist and Sepsis Coordinator.
During my time in Stephenville, God has allowed me to see the beauty in assisting others, especially in developing projects and programs. I am overjoyed and humbled to join CHSC in the role of Program Coordinator. Our desire is to develop programs that share the gospel of Jesus Christ to the poor and underserved. I hope to use the gifts God has granted me by assisting those who are faithfully treating, so that Jesus may heal.
